HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
Request an Application Form from the office, complete the details and either return it to the office or give us a ring. We will then issue you with a unique Membership no., which is to be used for every booking you make.

IS IT ADVISABLE TO BOOK IN ADVANCE OR CAN I JUST TURN UP TO FISH?
Yes, you have to book in advance, you cannot just turn up and fish. Please ring stating what date, lake and session is required.

CAN I FILE DOWN THE BARBS ON MY OWN HOOKS?
No, hooks with filed down barbs cannot be used. All hooks must be totally BARBLESS

CAN I USE THREE RODS IF I HAVE TWO ENVIRONMENT AGENCY LICENCES?
No, you can only use two rods at Wintons Fishery.

IS FREE LINING ALLOWED?
No, but floater fishing is allowed, but must be with a controller.

CAN I BRING MY WIFE/GIRLFRIEND/PARTNER?
Yes, your wife/girlfriend/partner is entitled to joint Membership if required. However they must pay the Daily Tariff when fishing and utilising a swim.

ARE BBQ'S CLASSED AS OPEN FIRES?
No, you may use portable BBQ's, but please ensure they are fully extinguished before leaving them unattended.

CAN I USE MY IPOD WITH HEADPHONES?
Yes, but please ensure you do use your headphones so not to disturb anybody else.

IF SWEETCORN IS ALLOWED CAN I USE MAIZE?
No, because in the past unprepared maize has been used and is potentially harmful to the fish.
