Lee Fisher spent a week on peg 7 and had in his own words “my best trip ever on Mallard” with a total weight in excess of 350lbs. Lee's nineteen fish haul consisted of 11 commons, three mirrors, two kois and two leathers and one linear. Best two fish of session were two commons one at 40lb 4oz the other one tipping the scales at 40lb 8oz.
Robin West while doing 48 hours on Mallard in very cold conditions only had one run, but that one run produced “the fish of a lifetime”, a mirror weighing in at 45lb 7oz.
Mid December saw a great night on Kingfisher for Mark Hedges when he logged two fish, his first being a common of 46lb and the other a mirror of 44lb 4oz.
Just before the end of the year bad weather (not the actual term) used by Robert Wiggins, but he did go home with a huge grin after landing his pb common at 36lb 9oz.
Early January saw Peter Barnett and Dave Crunden fish Kingfisher's pegs 30 and 31 for 48 hours. Peter's reward was a new pb common one ounce short of the magic 40, while Dave recorded a stunning common of 43lb 2oz.
Mid February peg 26 on Kingfisher is where Darren Rogers recorded three fish, a pb common of 41lb 15oz another of 31lb 8oz and a koi of 24lb 12oz.
