CATCH UPDATE
AUTUMN - September, October, November

SEPTEMBER
Stuart Nesbitt's persistence with Iced Red bait finally paid off with two stunning commons from Kingfisher - one at 43lb 8oz and the other a beauty of 29lb 4oz.

"Horrid wind and rain" did not deter Don Blackman from a session on Kingfisher, only to be rewarded with a 34lb 2oz mirror.
What a patient man Carl Allen is! He ended a two year "blank" with a busy session on Mallard, landing five commons - best 25lb 9oz, three mirrors - best 24lb 5oz and two cats to 27lb 9oz.
A 48 hour session for Mark Smith on Kingfisher's peg 26 landed him two thirties to 35lb and three twenties to 26lb 8oz.
A cat a day......... keeps Glyn Jones a happy man, a five day session gave Glyn five cats to 46lb 8oz.
That all important "dream" fish was an unknown 42lb 12oz common from Kingfisher for Vince Whyborne.

Yet another forty for Dave Crunden was a 42lb 7oz common from Kingfisher!

More forties........... this time for Ian Sewter - two commons of 44lb 4oz and 43lb .
A few days on Mallard for Alex Platts gave him a "great fishing session", a real mixed bag or mirrors, commons, kois and cats, total weight 304lb 4oz.
Alex Farnworth's first fish from Kingfisher turned out to be a pb 30lb 3oz common.

The forties kept on coming..................... Mick Ashcroft took a 45lb 8oz common from Kingfisher's peg 31.

Young Peter Fraser had his work cut out for him,but his SS baits did the trick for him as he recorded two twenty pounder commons, and 24lb 7ox koi and a 33lb 7oz mirror.
Our bailiffs obviously have great faith in the Iced Reds as it delivered a 30lb 10oz common for Gary Furminger.
Double pb's for Guy St. John during a session on Mallard's peg 3 - "A 52lb Cat Caught on Mallard peg 3 about 10 in the evening. I had a great 3 days on the lake and also had a 36lb common, amongst other smaller fish.Unfortunately the night I got home some scum bag broke into my garage and nicked all my fishing gear. Hopefully I will get insurance though."

Harry Connor is delighted to have found Wintons (he reckons it'seven better than France and not so far to travel). A four day session gave him a 17 fish haul, including a pb 39lb 10oz common and a 43lb cat!
OCTOBER
A pb cat of 54lb made Bob Clark's day on Mallard.
Likewise a pb common of 33lb made Mark Harney "very happy" too!
A week's work experience for Ben Humphrey was a bit of a "jolly" as he managed to squeeze a bit of fishing in between his chores! He recorded five common best being a pb of 25lb and a pb koi of 26lb 8oz.
A brace of fifty pound catfish is the entry that Steve Hyde made mid October, but what a brace - one of 51lb and the other at 50lb!
Matt Abbott was only ounces away from a thirty pounder, but he was more than happy with a 29lb 4oz common pb.
A selection of different baits did the trick for Ian Darke during a weeks session of Mallard, fruit boillie and Iced Red gave him four commons to 24lb and a 21lb mirror.
NOVEMBER
A "wicked Autumn session" is what Jon Moss though of his four days on Heron. A nine fish haul of eight commons an one koi, best over all 17lb 10oz.
A new 46lb 4oz pb common for Ian Cox was his reward from peg 31 on Kingfisher.

Five days and four nights for Josh Horne gave him some good sized mirrors including his pb of 28lb 9oz.

A 72 hours session in mid November for the Platt boys paid off. Alex and Simon gave Mallard ago, while dad spent sometime on Heron bagging a 38lb cat. Mallard rewarded Alex with a pb mirror of 28lb 0z, while Simon's new common pb increased to 29lb 14oz, together with a pb cat of 50lb 4oz.
