SUMMER - June, July, August JUNE
Keith Hennessy and his son Lee had a great crack with the cats on Mallard, with a haul of two at 31lbs, one of 52lbs and another of 53lbs.Vince Whybourne was back on his favourite lake, Kingfisher and had a very respectable tench session, best being 8lb 12oz, topping the session with a pretty 31lb koi. It was the tench that John Lawson was after too, his reward was a "huge" 10lb 10oz fish and a new pb!After four year absence Eddie Chidwick did a session on Heron to land a 20lb common and then a 24lb grass carpfrom Kingfisher, obviously not lost the touch!A Kingfisher regular, Dave Crunden landed the "fat lip" common at 38lb 2oz which gave him a good fight. A 72 hour session for James Coleman on Kingfisher was the "best 80 nikka ever spent!", he landed eight carp between 12lb and 41lb 2oz.Another week on Mallard for Ian "farmer" Darke was a good social for him, as a he caught up with other anglers. His 18 carp and one cat haul totalled a bag just short of 300lb. Along side Ian for the same session, Brian Clarke was after the cats. His total was recorded at five carp for 105lb 12oz and 18 cats totalling 508lb 10oz. Something to smile about Brian! JULY
Vince
Whybourne picked a spot on Kingisher for a 48 hour session and had
great sport with two commons, being being 26lb, a koi of 24lb 9oz and a
couple of tench to 8lb 2oz. Two cats of 32lb were great fun for Kevin Pearce from Mallard's peg 20. Beating his English pb twice was fantastic for J. Lawson with a 26lb 7oz and 27lb common, together with his first koi of 18lb 10oz.
Disappointment by missing out on the carp was replaced with "over the moon" for D. Rickard when he landed two cats of 52lb 8oz and 49lb.
Patience paid off for Cliff Sivyer, after blanking for four months,he made up for it with a common of 23lb and two kois of 26lb 2oz and 32lb 4oz.
Heron was the place to be for a "bloomin hot few days" for Ryan Steadman and mixed bag of carp and cats, best being 35lb 2oz. The "Big Mirror" was worth the wait for Tony Leach as he landed it at 40lb 2oz and then a tench of 9lb 3oz.
Anthony Stroud decided to fish Heron for a change and it paid off with - a cat in "perfect nick" of 35lb 8oz, three mirrors to 19lb 8oz and two commons to 24lb.
Peg 11 for Bob Wilkinson proved to be successful with a bag of 10 commons to 21lb 2oz, two mirrors to 22lb 8oz and his partner Tash not to be outdone landed three mirrors to 22lb 8oz and a common of 9lb 4oz.
Rob Wyld had an "excellent time" with the cats on Mallards' peg 3, six monsters for the record book, a little kitten, one twenty, two thirties, and 51lb pounder and a massive 64lb 2oz, he needed a bit of help lifting it!!!!!!

A week on Mallard for Ian Darke from Bath left him feeling "well knackered" after landing 51 fish for approximately 1000lbs, best being two cats of 47lb and 49lb 12oz. See you again soon Ian when you have recovered!
Ben Watson kept Ian company on the adjacent peg and had a "brilliant week wth loads of laughs", recording 29 fish including two 30lb commons.
A hard session for Barrie Allen gave him four cats, a cat of 34lb at the end of the session was worth waiting for!
Martin Clark had a short vening seesion on Heron and depsite his recent absence from the fishery, he obviously hasnt lost the knack as he landed three commons to 22lb and a small cat.
Cats galore in a 24 hour session for Eddie Chidwick, he landed six, best being a pb of 39lb.
Brian Clark promised "to be back soon", after a monsrous session on Mallards' peg 7, nineteen cats to 63lb 14oz and just a couple of commons to give him a bit of variety!
