Autumn - September, October, November SEPTEMBER   A session on Mallard gave David Williamson a perfect brace of commons, one of 17lb 8oz and 23lb - in perfect condition! Ian Taylor had a session on Heron's peg 41 and recorded two pb's, a 27lb 8ox mirror and 48lb cat. Paul Bridger had some new rods that needing christening and a session on Mallard did just that!  On Maple 8 he recorded two commons of 18lb 7oz and 24lb 14oz and then a 59lb 9oz cat. Owen and Rob Wyld were back on Mallard and had a "good time", with 13 cats between them, best being 52lb. Dave Whitehead had an all cat session - weighing in cats of 51lb 4oz, 456lb 5oz and 60lb 6oz - the pictures below speak for themselves. Six pb's for Kristian Rose on his first visit means he will be back!!!  He recorded nine cats, pb's of 52lb, 62lb and 69lb 12oz and four commons, pb's of 27lb and 29lb 3oz. Danny Soulsby was happy after his first visit on Kigfisher - a 31lb 12oz common on cell pop up. Blanking for three months ended for Cliff Sivyer with two commons from Kingfisher - one of 19lb and 38lb - just like buses!!!!! Ian Cox was back for his Winter fishing - he hasnt lost his touch while being on the cricket pitch this Summer, as he landed a stunning 47lb 8oz mirror from Kingfisher.     A pb cat for Don Blackman was recorded at 55lb 8oz, together with a 25lb 6oz common from Mallard's peg 3. On only his second session at the fishery, Kristian Rose had another pb catfish of 70lb 2oz. Ian "Claude" Darke spent an exhausting week on Mallard's peg 4, recording eight cats to 64lb 4oz, plus an 18lb 8oz ko and 20lb mirror.  He has gone back home for a rest! A trio of commons was Jack Packhams' catch from Mallard, the New Grange gave him one of 3lb, 15lb and 19lb A slow session for Tom and Colin Post was still enjoyable and gave them two commons of 33lb 8oz and 26lb 6oz and a mirror of 19lb 7oz. A slow session too for Michael Poulter, but still resulted in two cats of 37lb and 48lb. The hard conditions continued through to the end of September, although Ray Bashford still managed to land two koi of 17 an 21lb, a common of 22lb and a 15lb mirror.   OCTOBER Early October saw an increase in activity. Gary and Angela Roberts spent three days on Heron and recorded 23lb 5oz koi, two mirrors of21lb 13oz and 22lb 1oz and a cat f 27lb 1oz. A three day stint for Gary Essery on Heron gave him three cats including a pb og 58lb and an 18lb koi. Despite bad weather conditions "Nobber" fished Mallard and landed five cats between 26lb 7oz and 55lb exactly. Nash Black Squid did the trick for David Halfacre as he finally landed a 30 pounder - a 32lb 1oz common from Mallard's peg 13. Great weather greeted Phil Murray from Lancashire when he did a session on Kingfisher and recorded two commons of 31lb 8oz and 32lb 8oz, plus a 21lb 15oz koi. Danny McDowell had a "good experience" on Mallard with three cats of 31lb, 31lb 1oz and 35lb 1oz. The cats continued to show into October, Gary Nichols landed three to 62lb, plus and 18lb common. Holly Warner and Brian Lovegrove had "fantastic 5 days" on Heron.  Holly recorded four fish in 24 hours - two 24lb commons, an 8lb common, 13lb cat and 18lb orange and black koi.  Brian also had a result with two commons of 8lb and 24lb 5oz and a 26lb mirror. In mid October the cats were still putting in an appearance - this time for Addie Appleby, he recorded six to 46lbs and three mirrors of 17lb 4oz, 23lb 12oz and 29lb 4oz. Ian Cox was back for his monthly jaunt onto Kingfisher and was rewarded with a 25lb 5oz koi and a 19lb 14oz mirror. Cliff "the Spliff" Sivyer whooped, whooped for joy when he landed an 18lb koi from Kingfisher. A pb koi of 28lb 1oz made Tony Hardy a happy angler.   NOVEMBER By mid November the only catch recorded was a 37lb 7oz cat for Craig Wallis - his first cat ever! A cold session on Mallard's peg 16 rewarded Ian Taylor with a 26lb common.  Marcos Gava had a session on Mallard's peg 11 mid November and recorded a 12lb common and a late cat of 29lb.
