What a five day session for Lee Fisher. Fishing Mallard's peg 11, Lee logged five cats and 33 carp, his best carp was 27lb and his best cat graced the scales at 49lb.
“Over the moon”, remarks left by V. Whyborne on his departure from Mallard, “V” landed 15 fish with his best being a cat of 45lb.
Carl Francis spent three days on Mallard and said that it “was his best session ever”, Carl's total catch was a very impressive haul of 22 fish.
A three day session for Barry Allen gave him his new pb cat of 47lb 11oz.
Two new pb's were the rewards for D. Freemans' day on Mallard, a common of 33lb and a cat of 47lb now being his best.
Len Ascombe spent the week on Kingfisher and managed to up his pb by a single ounce with the capture of a pristine common 40lb 3oz, he also took a further six fish including a 38lb 9oz common.
John Fullard spent four hours on a beautiful July evening and took six fish, five commons and a mirror.
A eight year wait finally ended when Lee Taylor-Clarke landed his dream fish - a beautiful mirror gracing the scales at 44lb 8oz.
A night session on Kingfisher finished with Tony Rand logging four tench to 8lb 6oz and capped his night with a superb common 40lb 4oz.
Thirteen year old Lewis Taylor fished Mallard peg 11 on his first visit to the Fishery and went home grinning from ear to ear, after logging the capture of a stunning cat of 57lb 2oz, which smashed his pb by more than 40lb!
What a weeks session! – Alex Wilkins finally recorded six cat, seven common and two mirrors for a total weight in excess of 230lb. Alex's best fish of session was cat of 39lb 8oz.
48 hours on Mallard peg 8 saw Chris Worsford log three commons and two mirrors, his best common was 37lb and best mirror weighed 36lb 12oz.
Michael Woolsey fished Mallard's peg 3 and upped his catfish pb not once but twice, first to 47lb 9oz and then again to 47lb 12oz.
51lb is Scott Baz's new cat pb after spending a 72 hour session on Mallard's peg 11.
Dean Baz's first ever session at the fishery was one he will not forget in a hurry. He heaved a cat of 61lb 2oz onto his tripod.
A week spent on Mallard's peg 16 saw Carl Francis up his cat pb twice, first to grace the scales was one at 45lb and later lifted another cat this time pushing the scales to 49lb 12oz.
Peter Barnett spent a week on Kingfisher in August after the carp and tench. Peter's best carp of the session was a beautiful common of 42lb 10oz caught off the top.
Another fish off the top fell to Peter Hyde when he landed a common of 43lb 12 oz from Kingfisher.
Twelve fish were logged by Len Anscombe after spending 72 hours on Kingfisher, which included three 40lb plus fish, two common of 42lb 9oz and 43lb 2oz and a leather of 43lb 7oz.
