JRC Heron Lake is fast becoming
a specimen water to match the other two lakes with many fish now exceeding
the 20lb mark including a beautiful orange and black Koi of around 24lb.
The lake was designed as more of a pleasure anglers heaven, and it still
is but with the added bonus of some thing special now and again.
There
are loads of islands, overhanging trees, reeds, lillies and plenty more
to aim at. The most popular pegs are 35, 37, 41, 49 and 50, but all
the swims produce fish regularly.
Gary
Essery has been putting fish on the bank left right and center and has
had several 20's in cluding the Koi at 24lb. Well done Gary.
Graham
Kettle has had a good day fishing from peg 34, he managed to land 4
carp including a 27lb common.
Baits
at the moment seem to be the ever popular Halibut Pellets.
Get on em!!
