JRC
Mallard Lake has always been renowned for
it's huge Catfish as well as it's quantity of quality 20lb and 30lb
Carp. The lake record Carp is a common of 42lbs, and catfish run to
over 60lbs!!!
Mallard
is the largest lake on the complex and is divided by two large islands
through the center of the lake, these give a great feature for anglers
to fish to as the fish love to hold up between the islands.
Don't
forget to bring some strong rods, because the cats will take carp
baits and will pull your arm off, so be on your guard.
Halibut
pellets and Nugget seem to be the way to bag a few at the moment.
However maggot has been known to throw up a few surprises.
Massive
