Sean Hogan October 23
Sean Hogan on Mallard Lake told us “Just coming to end of my seasons fishing with 4 nights on Mallard. Loved every second of it!
Can not thank Mo, Paula, Stu, Andy, Mike, and Harry enough for simply a brilliant year.
I fished my first couple of nights this session in peg 16/17 with my good mate Colin with a nice common at 29 lb 5 oz and 3 cats to 68lb. A big thank you to Phil da beard who got us out of the snags and offered us priceless tips – we thank you.
The last two nights I have been lucky to fish in my first comp on mallard in peg 15, with some outstanding fishermen and fisherlady. We have such a great fishing community, I feel really lucky. I managed to bank a Common last evening at 29 lb 13 oz (I think its a different one
).

I now look forward to the winter passing and getting back to this “happy place” in mar/Apr 24. Thank you to all those brilliant like minded people I have met this year and stay safe till we can get a line in the water next. God bless.
May be I was a little premature writing this post as just banked a 79lb beautiful cat for a new PB, over the moon , thank you to the “cat gods”! Massive thanks to Julian Hall for all your help.”
Well done on your new PB catfish Sean and look forward to seeing you back next year!
