What a few days for Karl Francis first session back at Wintons this season!
“Regarding the absolute brilliant session I had on the 15th to the 19th of August 2019
It all started with the first night on Mallard Lake peg 20
With the first night catching a 23lb common & then a stunning 31lb 4oz common,
& then the 2nd evening with a 27lb common & by now I was so happy I didn’t care if I caught anything else! As this to me was more than enough.
So going into the last night. I had 3 runs within 45 minutes,
First was a 26lb common , then a 42lb cat and then a truly great 29lb common,
Unbelievable,,,,,,,,,,,
I then put both rods out to get some well deserved sleep 💤
But then being awoke by a screaming run & after a long battle
Netting a 45lb cat
Wow, what a unbelievably best session at Wintons I’ve had so far
Let alone my first session this year!”
