LATE SUMMER CARP AND CATFISH COMPETITION SEP 19
We had our late summer carp and catfish competition over the weekend. The fish were definitely feeding and moving with 1,162lb 14oz of fish caught by the 12 anglers over the 48 hour period! It was very tense and exciting with the lead taken away from Gary Eade on the last day. Mike Woolsey took the most weight at 302lb 8oz fishing from peg 10! Gary Eade took the largest catfish at 79lb 12oz with Shaun Blanks taking a lovely Mirror from peg 11 at 22lb! George Karageorgevitch was delighted with a new PB catfish of 76lb from peg 17. Darren Lamb took a 66lb fish and Darral Collins in peg 13 a 65lb 12oz specimen and 32lb 12oz.
